Calls, Booking, and Workflow

How does Handled Calls work?
When a customer calls and you do not answer, Handled Calls can answer after a set number of rings. We generally recommend answering after a few rings, such as 3, during business hours and answering immediately outside business hours. Handled Calls gathers the important details, attempts to book the job while the caller is on the line, and gives you a clean summary with prioritized callbacks for anything that still needs attention.

What information does Handled Calls collect from callers?
Handled Calls can capture the customer’s name, address or service location, issue, urgency, and other key job details so you can quickly understand what came in and what to do next.

Can Handled Calls book jobs?
Yes. Handled Calls can suggest available booking times based on your calendar and attempt to book the job while the caller is on the line.

What happens if the caller does not book right away?
Missed opportunities are prioritized inside the app so the business owner or team can follow up.

Can I see every conversation?
Yes. Handled Calls keeps a full conversation log and provides short, clear summaries so you can quickly see what happened and what needs action.

Does Handled Calls sound like a robot?
Handled Calls is designed to sound natural, clear, and professional. If asked, it can explain that it is an AI assistant and offer an owner callback when appropriate.

Can I customize how Handled Calls responds?
Yes. You can customize your business details and responses so Handled Calls fits how your business operates.

Does Handled Calls filter spam?
Yes. Likely spam calls are flagged so they are easier to ignore and don't distract you.

Does Handled Calls support multiple languages?
Yes. Handled Calls supports multilingual communication.

Texts, Reviews, and Compliance

What texts does Handled Calls send?
Handled Calls is built around operational, consent-based texting. If a customer gives verbal consent, Handled Calls can send booking confirmations, booking reminders, relevant job updates, and a post-job review request.

Does Handled Calls send marketing texts?
No. Handled Calls does not send automated marketing text follow-ups for unbooked leads. Unbooked opportunities are prioritized in the app for manual callbacks instead.

How do review requests work?
After a job is complete, Handled Calls can send a satisfaction check and then request a review from happy customers. If a customer is unhappy, that can be flagged first so the issue can be addressed before asking for a review.

How is consent handled?
Handled Calls stores consent status so operational texts related to booking, job updates, and post-job follow-up can be managed appropriately. Businesses are still responsible for using the system in compliance with applicable laws and obtaining any required consent.

Can customers opt out of texts?
Yes. Handled Calls supports common opt-out keywords such as STOP, END, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE.
